Thomas Park is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Merz as President of its construction division. In this newly created leadership role, Merz will spearhead the company’s next phase of growth and innovation.
Bringing over two decades of experience in commercial construction and strategic leadership, Merz previously served as President of Korth Construction. During his six-year tenure, he successfully led the company through a major ownership and leadership transition—steering both expansion and generational succession.
Before joining Korth in 2018, he spent seventeen years at Rand Construction, rising from project manager to principal, and played a pivotal role in its sustained growth.
“Matt brings a tremendous depth of experience,” said Alex Kopicki, CEO of Thomas Park Construction. “His leadership and industry knowledge will be instrumental as we build on our strong foundation and accelerate into the next stage of growth.”
In his new position, Merz will collaborate closely with Bryan Borucki and the rest of the leadership team to enhance the firm’s construction platform, optimize operations, and position the business for future expansion. Merz commented: “I’m thrilled to join Thomas Park Construction and build upon the outstanding foundation already in place. Together with the team, I look forward to driving innovation and delivering exceptional value to our clients.”
